Lindsey received a degree in Art and Design from Saint Martin’s Art School in London and after a time began working with mannequin visionary Adel Rootstein, which became the perfect environment for honing the skills of working with clay. From that grounding Lindsey began making smaller artefacts under the name ‘Lindsey B’ and also took on significant projects for various display companies across Europe. She now works solely on her own with shapes and forms, a collection called ‘Shelf Life’ that aims always to enhance any surface or environment. The essence of this sculpted work sits neatly in the intersection of abstract with realism. The figurines are cast solid in metallic resin, the silhouettes sinuous and the poses rhythmic, such that they make a statement from any angle.
